Brian O’Keefe

Brian is a founding partner of Lippitt O’Keefe, PLLC, along with Norman L. Lippitt. He supervises the firm’s transactional, real estate, business, and personal planning departments. Brian represents local, regional, and national entities and associations in general business and corporate matters, including formations, financings, mergers and acquisitions, dispositions, dissolutions and reorganizations. He represents lenders, borrowers, and developers in sophisticated real estate transactions. In addition, he represents individuals and entities in business, asset protection and personal planning matters.

Brian is also actively involved in the area of venture capital financing where, among other things, he has represented both private and public funding sources and individuals and entities receiving angel and venture capital. Recently, Brian has been a leading advocate for the Retirees and their Associations in the City of Detroit bankruptcy procedures.

Finally, Brian is outside general counsel to Realcomp II, Ltd; the largest real estate multi-listing service in the State of Michigan. Over the course of his career, Brian has been legal counsel in transactions with a cumulative value in excess of $1 billion.

Brian received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Michigan State University in June 1981, graduating cum laude. He then attended Columbus School of Law at the Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C., where he achieved the degree of Juris Doctor in May, 1986.

Brian’s professional memberships include the State Bar of Michigan, the Oakland County Bar Association, and the American Bar Association. Brian has sat on the Board of Directors of the Manresa Retreat House and has previously served on the Board of the Young Entrepreneurs Organization of Michigan. Brian has been given the highest ranking of AV by the Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory and is recognized by Super Lawyers, Crain’s and Business in the area of corporate law.

Robyn O’Keefe

Robyn is a lifelong Oakland County resident, raised in White Lake, Michigan. After graduating from Lakeland High School, she studied Biology at Wayne State University. While working at Peabody's restaurant during her college years, she met Brian. They fell in love and have been together since 1987, marrying in January, 1993.

Her early career with the Prudential Insurance Company included work as a Provider Relations and then Group Service Representative. With the arrival of their firstborn, Cullen, Robyn took a sabbatical to care for him and his younger siblings Kieran, Quinlan, and Keely who soon followed.

In 2012, Robyn began her second career as a Para-educator in the Birmingham Public Schools, quickly assuming the role of local union president. Over the past decade, Robyn's union and political activism has grown to include roles serving as a Director on both the Michigan Education Association and National Education Association's Boards.

In her leisure time, Robyn enjoys cycling, hiking with the family dog, Mickey, traveling, and skiing, especially in volunteer service as a member of the National Ski Patrol at Mount Holly Ski and Snowboard Resort in Holly, Michigan.

Cullen O’Keefe

Cullen is a lawyer and policy researcher interested in improving the governance of artificial intelligence using the principles of Effective Altruism. In May 2019, he received a J.D. cum laude from Harvard Law School. He currently works as Counsel for Policy & Governance at OpenAI.

Cullen is also a Research Affiliate with the Centre for the Governance of AI and a Founding Advisor and Research Affiliate at the Legal Priorities Project. His research focuses on the law, policy, and governance of advanced artificial intelligence.

Kieran O’Keefe

Quin O’Keefe

Quin O'Keefe, born and raised in Birmingham, Michigan, is an alumni of Birmingham Public Schools and a recent graduate of Albion College. In 2023 he earned a degree in Mathematics and Spanish Secondary Education at Albion. In February, 2024, Quin started his first job as a Math teacher at Clarenceville High School in Livonia, Michigan.

While Quin was a student at Albion College, he was a member of many organizations including: the British Eighth Marching Band, the Symphonic Wind Ensemble, the men's music fraternity Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia, and the Fritz Shurmur Center for Teacher Development. Currently, Quin is a proud member of the state and local teacher unions; the Michigan Education Association and the Clarenceville Education Association.

When Quin is not teaching, he likes to referee soccer on the side and likes to relax by listening to music, playing video games, spending time outside, exercising, and hanging out with his family and friends.

Keely O’Keefe

Keely O'Keefe was born in Birmingham, Michigan and is the youngest in the O'Keefe family. After graduating from Birmingham Public Schools in 2019, she went on to graduate from Michigan State University with a degree in Psychology and a minor in Peace and Justice studies in 2023. Currently, Keely is living abroad in Belgium and working as an Au Pair. In the future, she hopes to become a paramedic and firefighter.

In her free time, Keely loves spending time outdoors hiking, biking, and camping. She also enjoys reading, working out, cooking, traveling, and connecting with new people.

Keely is very passionate about human rights, environmental science, and the protection of children and animals. She hopes to make a positive impact during her time in OFF and to take action alongside her family in making the world a better place.
